How do I schedule an appointment?

We have a number of options for all types of appointments for new and existing clients.  Please visit our schedule and select the type of appointment that fits your needs. Book Now.

If the attorney is busy, how do I reach her?

Sometimes Attorney Perez is not available because she is in meetings or in court.  The best way to communicate with her directly is through her email at:  Marcia@PerezImmigrationSF.com.  You can also call or text our office at our phone number: (415) 291-8122.  If you are an existing client and this is not a new matter you can schedule a quick 10 minute meeting with her at this link, select “Existing Client” and select a date. What do I do if I am in a different time zone or have an emergency and need a sooner appointment?

How much will my case cost?

Most of our fees are set, flat rates but we must meet withe each person for a consultation before we can give a full quote. Every matter is different and each person may have different issues such as a visa overstay, unlawful presence, an arrest, a misrepresentation  made to DHS, a previous denial or removal order, etc. All of these issues impact the legal fees.

How long will my filing take with USCIS? What are the current processing times? 

Processing times with USCIS vary wildly, it can take as short as 15 days with premium processing for business cases to up to 25+ years waiting for a U visa.  For your pending petitions and applications you can check general case processing times here:  https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/.

How do I access my account on the Department of State website to access my consular processing case?

When your petition is approved it is transferred to the U.S. Department of State for consular processing. This means you will have to return to (or remain in)  your home country to finish the process. DHS sends the file to the National Visa Center and they collect all the documents and information for the consulate. You are given a Case Number and Invoice ID Number (usually emailed to you after your petition is approved) you can access your online account with the case login information here:  https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx
